Amazing 8 Insanely Simple Standing Desk Hacks on a regular day sunaofe blog 2240x1260

If you working in an office or work from home, chances are you spend most of your day sitting at your desk. According to the BMC public health office workers who participated in the "ReSiT [Reducing Sitting Time] Study" were given a prototype of an intervention, and the purpose of this study was to determine the factors that prevented sitting for longer periods of time and promoted standing for longer periods of time. Sitting for long periods of time can be detrimental to your health, but standing at a desk doesn't sound fun either.

The solution is a standing desk that allows you to work while standing.

However, you can easily make one yourself.

Check out these 8 insanely simple standing desk hacks that take just a couple of minutes:

1. Use a Shelf:

If you don't want to worry about desk stability or if you already have a desk but want to add the option of being able to stand, getting a shelf is one of the cheapest ways to create a standing desk.

Top tip: If you are going to use a standing desk at home and need some space for your laptop, monitor, and other things, make sure the shelf is deep enough for these things so you won't put everything on the floor.

2. Use a Box:

If you want something even cheaper and easier than a shelf, then get a box. Just put the box on your desk and put whatever you need on top of it.

You can also use boxes to create different heights for your standing desk so that you can alternate between standing and sitting throughout the day. This is especially useful if you find that standing for long periods of time is tiring.

3. Use Books:

If you want an adjustable height standing desk hack, then this one is for you. Simply stack books up to the desired height and place whatever you need on top of them.

You can use as many or as few books as you like depending on how tall you want your desk to be. And if you want to move your desk around, just pick up the books and carry them with you!

4. Use Towels:

This hack is similar to the one above but instead of using books, you use towels. Just roll up the towels to the desired height and place whatever you need on top of it.

The advantage of this hack over the book one is that it's more adjustable. You can make the towels as tight or as loose as you want which means you can get the perfect height for your standing desk.

5. Use a Knife Block:

If you have a knife block, you can use it to create a makeshift standing desk. Just put the knife block on your desk and put whatever you need on top of it. It's that simple!

I'm sure you're familiar with the concept of standing desks, which may have seemed like a futuristic design when you first heard about them on shows like "The Jetsons." It is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

It isn't so futuristic anymore. In fact, Sunaofe has a few standing desk designs out there that you can use in your home or office.
